Summary: The Director of Evangelization, Family Life, and Pastoral Ministries will assist the Missionary Pastor with the pastoral care of the Pastorate. This role includes pastoral planning along with supervision of Directors and/or Coordinators of the following ministry areas: Lifelong Formation, Liturgy and Music, Pastoral Care and Community Care, other Parish Ministries and Outreach. The Director of Evangelization, Family Life, and Pastoral Ministries supports, accompanies, and equips the leaders in these ministerial areas to focus their attention beyond parishioners and into the community at large as they strive to facilitate making disciples of Jesus Christ, building vibrant communities of faith and inspiring men and women to be witnesses of Christ to the world.

Essential Duties:
· Works closely with the Missionary Pastor and in collaboration with the Director of Operations to discern the needs of the parish and plans accordingly for the future of the community.
· Leads and manages those performing pastoral ministry in the parish to strategically accomplish parish mission, build a culture of teamwork, and provide coherency across varied programs.
· Collaborates with the diocesan Director of Evangelization, Family Life, and Pastoral Ministries office and their counterparts in other pastorates.
· Establishes, facilitates, and coordinates traditional management activities for those engaged in pastoral ministry, including recruitment, retention, formation, and performance management.
· Utilizes strong background in Catholic theology to inform decision making.
· Develops the annual budget for ministries within the parish in collaboration with the Director of Operations.
· Fosters an environment of inclusion with multi-cultural and multi-ethnic communities, persons with disabilities, and other groups within the Pastorate and community.

The Director of Operations will work closely with the Pastor (and Principal, as applicable) to drive positive financial performance of the Parishes/Schools.
The Director of Operations assists the Pastor with the stewardship of the human, financial, and physical resources of the Parish, in accordance with diocesan policies and guidelines. This role will have responsibility for leadership of operations staff (bookkeepers, office, and maintenance staff).
Essential Duties:
FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT
· Prepares, evaluates, and communicates the Parish (church & school) budgets, annual reports, profit & loss, balance sheet, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger. Develops monthly variance reports and reforecasts. Reviews all reports with the Pastor and Principal (as applicable).
· Ensures proper internal controls are in place and followed.
· Serves as Parish representative to banks, manages accounts, and identifies and resolves discrepancies.

· Oversees purchasing, contract negotiations and vendor relationships.

SCHOOL SUPPORT
· Develops and manages the school economic model to assess the financial impact of initiatives (e.g. enrollment vs. tuition price vs. discounts vs. cost).
· Serves as a member of the School Financial Aid Committee.
· Supports the principal in developing assumptions for the annual budget.
· Reforecasts school finances each fall after enrollment season.
· Supports and assists the Principal and Pastor in all school financial management matters; Tuition setting process, Tuition collection process, financial aid process, Expense tracking and management.
BUILDINGS MANAGEMENT
· Manages major repairs, renovations and capital projects in accordance with diocesan policies.
· Acts as liaison to diocesan administrative agencies.
· Manages custodial maintenance functions.
· Acts as a resource for the Building Committee.
· Is responsible for Parish security, leasing, rental, use of Parish facilities, and acts as a liaison to local government agencies.
HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGEMENT

· Manages payment of salaries and benefits.
· Oversees the management of the Parish office (as applicable).

COMMUNICATION/INFORMATION

PROJECT/TEAM MANAGEMENT

Summary: Responsible for the effective preparation, coordination, performance, and leadership of music and liturgy within the liturgical celebrations of the pastorate of St. Mary Cathedral and St. Ann.
