Catechetical leaders -- directors of evangelization, directors of religious education, youth ministers, RCIA coordainators, and others who exercise leadership in the ministry of catechesis -- are a vital part of catechesis at the pastorate and parish levels. The Office of Catechesis assists such leaders to prepare and equip them to pass on our Catholic faith to those they serve.
